Photo by Ronald Martinez/Getty Images The Eagles offense has been forever changed with the signing of Saquon Barkley. He’s put up monster performances week after week, and in Week 12 against the Rams, the RB set a franchise single-game rushing record and set a new career-high with 255 rushing yards. Saquon Barkley has set an Eagles single-game rushing record AND career-high with 255 yards‼️@saquon | #FlyEaglesFly pic.twitter.com/8spJ32UbFz — Philadelphia Eagles (@Eagles) November 25, 2024 That’s incredible! And, if that wasn’t impressive enough, Barkley had another 47 receiving yards bringing him to an insane 302 total offensive yards in the primetime matchup. It’s no secret that the Eagles have been leaning into the run game much more after the bye week — in no small part to the offensive linemen speaking up about their strengths. Barkley has always been an elite player, but combined with the Eagles’ front five, he’s exceptional and unstoppable. Heading into this game, A.J. Brown admitted that Barkley finally topped Derrick Henry on his list for MVP, and it’s safe to assume Sunday’s performance is only going to boost that ranking. Barkley now has 1,392 rushing yards and 8 TDs through 11 games, and 1,649 total yards from scrimmage. He leads the league in total offensive yards, and is on pace to continue absolutely demolishing personal, team, and league records through the rest of the season. Thank you, Giants. Saquon Barkley really is one-of-one.

Darius Slay ruled out of Eagles-Rams game with a concussion
Alex Gallardo-Imagn Images The veteran CB has had trouble staying healthy this season, and took two more bigs hits on Sunday night. The Eagles defense was certainly being challenged Sunday night against the Rams, and veteran CB Darius Slay left the game after a helmet-to-helmet hit in the third quarter. He was pretty quickly ruled out due to a concussion. Injury Report: CB Darius Slay (concussion) is out. — Philadelphia Eagles (@Eagles) November 25, 2024 This was the second injury of the night for Slay, who also left the game during the first drive after colliding with teammate Reed Blankenship. Slay was ultimately able to return on the next drive, until being sidelined again later on. The CB has been injured several times throughout the season, and Isaiah Rodgers has done a really nice job every time he’s stepped into the Slay’s role. Rodgers took the field for him again on Sunday, and immediately impacted things, forcing a fumble that was scooped up by Nakobe Dean. Rodgers came back when Slay left in the second half.

Rams-Eagles on Sunday Night Football: First half game thread
Photo by Harry How/Getty Images Can the Rams finally get above a .500 record? The Los Angeles Rams (5-5) host the Philadelphia Eagles (8-2) in Week 12 of the NFL season on Sunday Night Football for what is perhaps the biggest NFC matchup of the day. You aren’t going to want to miss this one so here is our how to watch guide! The Eagles are one of the hottest teams in the NFL with a six-game win streak as they come into LA with a chance to add to their streak and establish even more control in the NFC East. Philly will be without Devonta Smith, but they still have A.J. Brown and Saquan Barkley. This should be a tough test for LA’s defense. The Rams have Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua ready to roll, but Vic Fangio’s defense has been stout in The City of Brotherly Love. This is likely to be a challenge for Sean McVay’s team in all facets, and if they can’t keep up there is a chance the game is lost well before the final whistle. If LA can somehow find a way to beat the Eagles, they will for the first time all season have a winning record. They’d also strengthen their chance at winning the NFC West. Any given Sunday. There’s plenty of time and storylines to discuss between the first and final whistle! Please enjoy the game and comment right here with Rams and NFL fans below!

Sunday Night Football: Philadelphia Eagles @ Los Angeles Rams Open Live Thread & Game Information
Photo by Harry How/Getty Images In week twelve of Sunday Night Football, the Philadelphia Eagles travel west to take on the Los Angeles Rams. The NFC East’s first-place Eagles come into the week on a roll, having won six straight games, including last week’s victory over the Washington Redskins, 26 to 18. The Rams, who struggled to kick off the season due to a rash of injuries, began losing four of their first five games. LA has gotten a lot healthier and has won four out of their last five games, including last week over the New England Patriots, 28 to 22. The only loss in the previous five games for the Rams came to our Miami Dolphins two weeks ago, 23 to 15. Philadelphia Eagles (8-2) 1st NFC East @ Los Angeles Rams (5-5) 2nd NFC West Kickoff: 8:20 p.m. EST, Sunday, November 24th Location: SoFi Stadium, Inglewood, California TV Broadcast: NBC FANDUEL Sportsbook betting Odds: Eagles -2.5; Point total: 48.5; Moneyline: Eagles -148 | Rams +126 —My Pick: This game could be close. While the Eagles are one of the best teams in the NFC and the NFL, at this point of the season, the Rams have come on as of late and are playing at home this week. I still believe the Eagles will come out on top, continuing their winning streak. While I would likely avoid betting on a game that might be super close if I had to bet, I would roll with the Eagles to cover, but just barely, pulling this one out by 3 or 4 points. This game might come down to whoever has the ball last.
Week 13 opening odds: Detroit Lions huge favorites over Chicago Bears on Thanksgiving
David Reginek-Imagn Images The opening betting lines for Week 13 have been released and the Detroit Lions are huge favorites over the Chicago Bears on Thanksgiving Day. The Detroit Lions (10-1) are back home in Week 12, for their annual Thanksgiving game, and this year, they welcome in their NFC North rival, the Chicago Bears (4-7), who are fighting to stay in the hunt for the division. The Lions have not won on Thanksgiving since 2016, but that could be changing this year, as the folks over at FanDuel Sportsbook have tabbed Detroit as heavy favorites in this game with the betting line being set at Lions -10.5 points. The Lions are in the midst of some pretty remarkable streaks right now. They’re off to the best start in franchise history, their nine-game win streak is the second-longest in team history, it’s the first time they’ve won 10+ games in back-to-back seasons, they have scored a rushing touchdown in 25 straight games (an NFL record) and have not allowed a touchdown to be scored against them in the last 10 quarters of football—just to name a few. They’ll be looking to keep these streaks rolling against the Bears. This offseason, the Bears walked out of the NFL draft with two top 10 picks, after selecting quarterback Caleb Williams first overall and then followed that up by grabbing wide receiver Rome Odunze with pick No. 9 overall. Additionally, they traded for slot receiver Keenan Allen and signed former Lions running back D’Andre Swift. The Bears were loading up on offense in hopes of a quick return to glory. Expectations were high for the Bears at the beginning of the season, and a 4-2 start got their fans hyped for what could be. Unfortunately, wins over the Titans, Jaguars, Panthers, and a depleted Rams teams proved to only be fools gold, as Chicago has not won a game since, losing their last five games to the Commanders, Cardinals, Patriots (LOL), Packers, and Vikings. While the Bears’ defense has played well, their offense, despite the high-profile additions, has struggled to put up points. Over their five-game losing streak, they’ve averaged just 14.5 points per game, though they are coming off a game where they put up 27 points on a tough Vikings defense. But if they hope to keep pace with the Lions’ top-scoring offense, the Bears will likely need to raise their game to an even higher level on Thanksgiving.
