Here’s some Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys roster news ahead of their Week 10 game at AT&T Stadium.
Eagles fullback/linebacker Ben VanSumeren cleared the concussion protocol.
BVS suffered a concussion during the Eagles’ Week 9 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars. He missed practice on Wednesday before being upgraded to limited on Thursday and then upgraded again to full go on Friday. He was ruled questionable on the final injury report before being upgraded to “no game status” on Saturday afternoon.
This news means the Eagles’ entire active roster is healthy.
The Eagles made no temporary practice squad elevations.
They didn’t need to since their roster is healthy.
Dak Prescott was not placed on injured reserve.
If Dallas placed Prescott on injured reserve before 4:00 PM Eastern on Saturday, he automatically would’ve missed the Cowboys’ next four games and been eligible to return as soon as Week 14.
By not putting him on IR, Prescott can theoretically return sooner. But new reporting indicates that Prescott is headed for season-ending surgery on his hamstring injury:
Cowboys QB Dak Prescott is planning to undergo season-ending surgery on his partially torn hamstring, pending the opinion of one final specialist, sources told ESPN.

The Cowboys’ season was already looking pretty cooked with a healthy Dak. Now there should be no question that it’s time to stick a fork in them, especially if the Eagles can drop them to a 3-6 record.
Micah Parsons will play against the Eagles.
Parsons was officially ruled questionable to play on Friday’s injury report. He was limited in practice all week after missing four games due to high ankle injury.
But ESPN’s Todd Archer reports Parsons will play in Philly. This development isn’t a surprise; Parsons was vocal about his intentions to suit up this weekend. The Eagles have done a good job of game-planning for Parsons in the past; they’ll need to prevent him from wrecking them again.
No Jonathan Mingo debut?
The Cowboys traded for Mingo earlier this week but it sounds like he won’t be playing against the Eagles. Dallas will roll with the following receivers: CeeDee Lamb, Jalen Tolbert, Jalen Brooks, KaVontae Turpin, Ryan Flournoy, and Cropper.
By elevating Cropper would seem to indicate Jonathan Mingo will not be active Sunday. Not a surprise given he had one padded practice after the trade. https://t.co/WGUfqiOj2s
