Miami Dolphins @ Los Angeles Rams Predictions and Players You Would Steal

Miami Dolphins @ Los Angeles Rams Predictions and Players You Would Steal

With our Miami Dolphins traveling this week to take on the Los Angeles Rams this coming Monday

Night, I asked the customary two questions this past week. Below are the questions and some of your thoughts and answers to the question(s) of the day.

If you could steal any player from the Los Angeles Rams roster to place on the Miami Dolphins roster, which player would it be and why?

Thomas23059 wants to drag a future hall of famer out of retirement.

Given that the question just says “roster” and not “active roster” I am going to go all the way down to the section of the Rams roster marked “Reserve/Retired” and poach Aaron Donald. I believe the question of “why” does not really need an answer.

Spok507 is all in on a WR swap.

I’d trade Puca Nacua for Waddle straight up.

Dolfanjoe says give me Dotson!

Kevin Dotson rig

holland182.0 is not pleased with the overall direction of the NFL.

Tutu Atwell. Why? Because if you’re going to turn football into ballet with all these rules to protect players you may as well have someone named Tutu

phinfan413 and phinette want a new QB.

Matthew Stafford

GateDolph also wants Stafford but for a very specific reason.

Stafford, he doesn’t fumble snaps.

DolphinsKings1 chose guys from each side of the ball.

Without questions: OG Kevin Dotson and DT Desjuan Johnson.

heatforlife wants to trade out McDaniel.

Sean mcvay what a great coach.

A) What will be the final score in this week’s Miami Dolphins game against the Los Angeles Rams?

B) What other predictions do you have for the upcoming game against the Rams? (stars of the game, etc.)

Dolfanjoe predicts another loss, but Tua survives.

27 – 20 Rams, Tua dives for two first downs! head first and survives it!

Bill Moody has a win for the Phins, and Ramsey stepping up.

I’m going with the Fins this week. I’ll be there to throw slurpees at them on the sideline if they falter. But no, I think this is the week we start the turn around. Prediction: Dolphins 34, Rams 31. Bold Prediction: Jalen Ramsey has a pick-six.

phinette predicts a 10-point loss as the team continues to slide.

Rams 27-17. 80% of Tua’s throws are garbage check downs or behind the line passes. Running game is solid. Secondary gives up big plays. We dive closer to top five draft pick.

SlayerNation1 does not believe that McDaniel is up to the task when it comes to primetime games.

LAR 29 – MIA 24

Primetime is always too much pressure for McD. They won’t get blown out. Defense will keep it close for a half and then their usual meltdown. Kyren Williams goes off in the second half.

holland182.0 has ideas.

In a low scoring defensive battle the Dolphins come out with a win, by the final score of 71-59

Spok507, despite lacking much hope, has Miami with a 6-point win.

I don’t hold out much hope for a Prime-time Monday night game on national TV as they truly always seem to fold under the lights of national attention, but… that being said, just like last week, this team is desperate for a win. So there will probably be even more effort put forth than against the Bills. The offense must click — especially facing a pass defense that hasn’t been all that good. Tho I do hope they keep it balanced and stick with the ground game that has been working well, they do need to get the receivers involved and make an effort to spread the defense and move the ball. Keeping the running game going should force the Rams to try to stop it and allow Waddle and Hill to get free. Jonnu Smith will be a big factor as well. Our defense has been starting out games efficiently, but loses momentum and allowed both Arizona and Buffalo back into the games. LA has a great pair of receivers, so our D needs to play them accordingly. Weaver better have a plan. I hope they can break this slide because this is probably the last straw. So I’m going with Miami 30-24.

DolphinsKings1 has a really nice day for the Phins in mind, and Waddle goes off.

We finally crack the code in this one!

DOLPHINS 38 SILENCE OF THE LAMBS 23

PASSING

Tua 30 of 35 306 yards 4 TD’s no INTS

RUSHING

Achane 24 carries 92 yards 1 TD

Mostert 14 carries 62 yards 1 TD

Wright 6 carries 42 yards

RECEIVING

Waddle 9 receptions 158 yards 1 TD

Hill 8 receptions 104 yards 1 TD

Smith 5 receptions 36 yards

OBJ 4 receptions 27 yards 1 TD

DEFENSE

6 Sacks (Sieler, Ogbah, Robinson, Brooks, Ramsey, Jones)

1 INT Ramsey

USMCFinzFreak sees more sadness coming.

Primetime game = A Dolphins loss

Tua2HillWaddle predicts a redux of the last game.

We lose by a fg in the final seconds to make it 3 straight.

Miami7 believes the Phins will suffer another narrow loss.

Tough one to call….West Coast, Good HC, Good QB with some weapons back, won 3 in a row. We’re coming off one of the most complete offensive showings of McDaniel’s tenure as HC…and still lost. The defense just doesn’t seem to respond well in closing/big moments. Linebacking, Safety play are a mess. They ‘can’ and maybe even ‘should’ win but until they ‘do’ it’s just tough to believe they can/will. Another nail biter late loss….Rams win 31-30

cyberflea is a skeptic. Arent we all?

Were all skeptical of wins after so many loses this season but I think the Dolphins passing game will finally kick in against a Rams pass defense that is ranked 23rd in the NFL. Playing inside a dome a plus. Hill and Waddle finally break out of the slumps. McD has to continue to pound the rock. Defense has to close games and not break down at the worst times. I’m cramping up already because all toes and fingers are crossed. Dolphins win 27-23.

As is the norm lately, the predictions are all over the place. I guess that’s fair, not knowing what we will get from this team week to week. I hope those who see only doom and gloom (which I am a part of) are all wrong, and things bounce back. I wanted to see the team trade away some pieces at the deadline and load up on draft picks with the idea of both fixing the horrid cap situation and restocking for the next several years. As usual, I am one of those fans who never quite get what I want from my team. As always, thank you to everyone who took the time to read and answer our questions for the day. Please join us tomorrow for our live game threads and our Monday Night Football live thread to cheer on our Dolphins.
