He broke a record that Jerry Rice set in 1990.
With 264 receiving yards against the Baltimore Ravens, Ja’Marr Chase set the single-season record for most yards against a single opponent (457). He had 193 yards against Baltimore in Week 5.
The Cincinnati Bengals receiver broke a record previously set by Jerry Rice in 1990 (396 yards against the Atlanta Falcons).
It was Chase’s third career 200-yard game against the Ravens, only the seventh such performance against the franchise in its history. As Jay Morrison pointed out, Chase now has three of the top nine performances ever against the Ravens in terms of receiving yards.

It’s somewhat of a silver lining in the wake of a disappointing loss in Week 10. The Bengals fell to 4-6, but it’s clear that Joe Burrow and Chase are the the top of their games. Hopefully the firepower of those two will be enough to help Cincinnati get back on track next week against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday Night Football.
