Jevon Holland, Austin Jackson, and three others missed practice Thursday for the Miami Dolphins.
Right tackle Austin Jackson and safety Jevon Holland were among five Miami Dolphins who missed practice on Thursday. Terron Armstead, Calais Campbell, and Jordan Poyer received veteran rest days, a common practice early in the week.
Holland is recovering from knee and hand injuries that forced him to miss last week’s game and Jackson appeared on the injury report with a knee injury after playing all 61 snaps on Sunday. Former seventh-round draft pick Ryan Hayes was added to the practice squad to provide additional depth if Jackson can’t play, likely backing up Kendall Lamm against the Los Angeles Rams.

Cornerback Storm Duck (ankle), tight end Julian Hill (shoulder), and fullback Alec Ingold (calf) were limited, along with guard Robert Jones (knee), cornerback Kader Kohou (neck), safety Patrick McMorris (calf), linebacker Emmanuel Ogbah (bicep), and defensive lineman Zach Sieler (eye).
McMorris, a sixth-round rookie, had his 21-day activation window open after beginning the season on injured reserve due to a foot injury. Sieler, who fractured an orbital bone in practice, plans to wear a visor moving forward and is expected to play on Monday.
Linebacker Tyus Bowser (knee) and wide receiver River Cracraft, who missed the first eight games of the season due to a shoulder injury, practiced fully on Thursday.
While Los Angeles has yet to release its full injury report, the Rams have designated center Steve Avila and guard Jonah Jackson to return from IR, potentially strengthening an offensive line that has protected Stafford from sacks in consecutive games.
The battle in the trenches may make or break Miami’s chances to snap the Rams’ three-game winning streak. The Dolphins have lost three straight games for the second time and a loss on Monday would likely dash any final hopes of reaching the playoffs.
