Linebacker Zaire Franklin missed practice today due to an ankle injury. Franklin played the full game against the Vikings in week 9 and even tallied his first interception of the year. The defense played exceptionally well against the Minnesota Vikings offense and will be needed to lean on once again this week against the Buffalo Bills. Franklin is a big part of that defense.
Wide receiver Michael Pittman missed practice today with back and finger injuries. Pittman has been dealing with the back injury for multiple weeks now and appears to be on an injury management practice schedule, which consists of only one full practice per week on a Thursday. The finger injury appears to be a new injury.
Left tackle Bernhard Raimann was a full participant at practice today as he works his way back from a concussion. Raimann suffered a concussion in week 8 against the Houston Texans which subsequently ruled him out of the Colts week 9 against the Minnesota Vikings. Raimann being a full participant at practice today appears to show he in progressing through the concussion protocol and should be in line to be cleared to play in this weeks game.
Offensive tackle Matt Goncalves (shoulder and finger), defensive end Dayo Odeyingbo (elbow) and right tackle Braden Smith (knee) were all listed as full participants at today’s practice. Smith has been on an injury management practice schedule but it appears as though he may be working his way back to a more regular practice schedule.
