A small shakeup on the Bengals’ 53-man roster.
The Cincinnati Bengals have made a flurry of roster moves ahead of their Week 9 showdown with the Las Vegas Raiders.
The first was veteran defensive tackle Lawrence Guy being released. Guy, a 14th-year player, signed with the Bengals as a free agent on September 17th. He played in four games with two starts for the Bengals.
With his vacated roster spot, the Bengals signed running back Kendall Milton off the practice squad to the 53-man roster. Milton, a rookie out of Georgia, was signed on August 29th to the Bengals’ practice squad, where he spent the first eight weeks of the regular season. Milton figures to be active vs. the Raiders with starter Zack Moss (neck) listed as doubtful to play.
Finally, the Bengals elevated offensive tackle Devin Cochran and wide receiver Kendric Pryor from the practice squad to the active roster for Sunday’s game. Both players are classified as standard elevations. As practice squad players being elevated to the active roster for the game, they automatically will revert to the practice squad on Monday.
