Miami at Buffalo final injury report: Zach Sieler OUT, Jevon Holland doubtful for Sunday

Miami at Buffalo final injury report: Zach Sieler OUT, Jevon Holland doubtful for Sunday

Sunday’s game against the Buffalo Bills will be much harder with a handful of key defenders unlikely to play.

The Miami Dolphins face a steep climb after a 2-5 start to the 2024 campaign. Their first step is a road game against the Buffalo Bills in Orchard Park, where Miami has gone 2-12 in their last 14 meetings. Complicating matters, several key defensive players are unlikely to suit up.

Defensive tackle Zach Sieler is set to miss his second game with an orbital bone fracture. Safety Jevon Holland is doubtful, having missed every practice this week due to a broken hand and knee injury.

Cornerback Kader Kohou, sidelined for a second week of practice with a neck injury, will not play Sunday. Tight end Julian Hill, who injured his shoulder last week against the Arizona Cardinals, has also been ruled out.

Wide receiver River Cracraft returned to practice for the first time since injuring his shoulder in Week 2 of the preseason. He is listed as questionable after limited participation all week, but it’s unclear if he’ll be activated from Injured Reserve before Sunday.

“I’m leaning more to be cautious with the timeline and the advice of the medical team,” coach Mike McDaniel said Friday. “I’m leaning more towards next week, but we’ll be communicative about that and make the decision here soon.”

Fullback Alec Ingold was added to the injury report on Thursday with a calf injury; he was limited in practice for two straight days and is listed as questionable.

Buffalo fullback Reggie Gilliam will miss the game because of a hip injury that kept him from practicing Thursday or Friday. Wide receiver Amari Cooper (wrist), cornerback Christian Benford (wrist), and wide receiver Curtis Samuel (pectoral) are each questionable.
