Left tackle Bernhard Raimann missed practice today due to a concussion. Raimann experienced concussion symptoms after last weeks game against the Houston Texans and was placed into the leagues concussion protocol. It is very rare a player passes through the concussion protocol in a week so it is looking all the more likely that Raimann is out this week. If Raimann is out this week there doesn’t appear to be a straight answer to replace him at left tackle so it will be interesting to see where the team goes there.
Wide receivers Josh Downs (toe) and Michael Pittman Jr (back) both missed practice today with their respective injuries. Both have been dealing with their injuries for multiple weeks now and appear to be on an injury management practice schedule, which consists of only one full practice per week on a Thursday.
Center Ryan Kelly (calf) and right tackle Braden Smith (knee) both missed practice today through injury. Both, similar to Downs and Pittman, have been dealing with their injuries for multiple weeks now and appear to also be on injury management practice schedule, where they also only practice once per week on a Thursday with two “rest” days either side.
Quarterback Anthony Richardson was a full participant after his demotion to back up. He was listed to with left wrist and shoulder injuries.
