The New York Giants have two streaks they would like to break this Sunday when the host the Washington Commanders at MetLife Stadium (1 p.m. ET/FOX).
The Giants are riding a three-game losing streak that has seen them go from the cusp of being at .500 and in position to contend in the NFC East to 2-6 and in the division’s cellar. The Giants are also 0-4 at home this season, failing thus far to win a game at MetLife Stadium.
The Giants have now won two or fewer times through the eight-game mark of a season for the seventh time in eight years.
FanDuel Sportsbook lists the Giants as 3.5-point underdogs against the 6-2 Commanders, who beat the Giants 21-18 in Week 2. In that game the Giants became the first team in NFL history to score three touchdowns, not give up a touchdown, yet lose.
