End the week here
Week 8 in the NFL wraps up with a Monday Night Football matchup between the New York Giants and Pittsburgh Steelers.
Both quarterbacks enter the game with something to prove as Daniel Jones is fighting to keep his starting job with the Giants and Russell Wilson is looking to prove himself as the Steelers’ starter. Making life tougher on both QBs, each team has an impressive pass rush with Dexter Lawrence and Brian Burns leading the charge in New York while T.J. Watt and Cam Heyward continue to play like All-Pros in Pittsburgh.

Especially with left tackle Andrew Thomas going on injured reserve this week, the Giants’ offensive line will be in trouble against the Steelers’ defensive line. Obviously, that’s bad news for Jones and New York’s offense which is a big factor in my under pick despite the low number. Pittsburgh is simply a better team and should have no problems winning by at least a touchdown at home.
For the injury report, New York has ruled punter Jamie Gillan (left hamstring), cornerback Adoree’ Jackson (neck) and linebacker Ty Summers (ankle) out while cornerback Cordale Flott (groin) is doubtful. Also, cornerback Tre Hawkins III (ankle) and offensive lineman Jermaine Eluemunor (hip) are questionable. As for the Steelers, wide receiver Roman Wilson (hamstring), linebacker Tyler Matakevich (hamstring), outside linebacker Nick Herbig (hamstring), center Zach Frazier (ankle), offensive tackle Dylan Cook (foot) and running back Cordarrelle Patterson (ankle) are out while quarterback Justin Fields (hamstring) is questionable.
