The final game of Week 8 will be a Monday Night Football contest between the New York Giants (2-5) on the road against the Pittsburgh Steelers (5-2).
The Giants lead the all-time series between these teams, 44-31-3, but the Steelers have won the three most-recent meetings. They last faced off back in 2020, with the Steelers pulling off a road win, 26-16.
Russell Wilson is still the Steelers starting quarterback after his Week 7 return from injury. The veteran QB led Pittsburgh to a win, their fifth of the season, but Justin Fields probably could’ve had the same result against the Jets. Wilson was fine, but so was Fields through six games. Fields didn’t get any snaps last week, but time will tell if the now-backup QB gets into a game if Wilson finds himself struggling.
