Games to watch on Sunday
Your New York Giants are not playing on Sunday. There is, though, a full slate of games to watch — and wager on if you are so inclined. Here is a look at the Sunday slate, including which games are available in your viewing area.
1 p.m.
Philadelphia Eagles (4-2) at Cincinnati Bengals (3-4)
TV: CBS | Announcers: Ian Eagle, Charles Davis, Evan Washburn (field reporter)
Maybe an Eagles victory helps the Giants in terms of draft position, but you cannot root for Philly. It’s a violation of your fan card.
Baltimore Ravens (5-2) at Cleveland Browns (1-6)
TV: CBS | Announcers: Tom McCarthy, Jay Feely, Ross Tucker, Amanda Balionis (field reporter)
Things could be worse, Giants fans. You could be a Browns fan.
Tennessee Titans (1-5) at Detroit Lions (5-1)
TV: FOX | Announcers: Kevin Kugler, Daryl Johnston, Laura Okmin (field reporter)
I hope you’re not stuck with this game wherever you live.
Indianapolis Colts (4-3) at Houston Texans (5-2)
TV: CBS | Announcers: Andrew Catalon, Tiki Barber, AJ Ross (field reporter)
The Texans got it right when they drafted a young quarterback. The Colts? Not sure yet, but probably not.
Green Bay Packers (5-2) at Jacksonville Jaguars (2-5)
TV: FOX | Announcers: Kenny Albert, Jonathan Vilma, Megan Olivi (field reporter)
Why didn’t Xavier McKinney ever play as well for the Giants as he is for the Packers?
Arizona Cardinals (3-4) at Miami Dolphins (2-4)
TV: FOX | Announcers: Jason Benetti, Mark Schlereth, Jen Hale (field reporter)
I am going to cringe every time Tua Tagovailoa gets hit for the rest of his career.
New York Jets (2-5) at New England Patriots (1-6)
TV: CBS | Announcers: Spero Dedes, Adam Archuleta, Aditi Kinkhabwala (field reporter)
Part of me really wants to see Drake Maye torch the Jets. There is another part of me that would just be sad if that happened.
Atlanta Falcons (4-3) at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (4-3)
TV: FOX | Announcers: Adam Amin, Greg Olsen, Pam Oliver (field reporter)
If only the Giants could reach this level of mediocrity on a consistent basis.
4:05 p.m.
New Orleans Saints (2-5) at Los Angeles Chargers (3-3)
TV: FOX | Announcers: Chris Myers, Mark Sanchez, Kristina Pink (field reporter)
And you thought it was going to be easy for Jim Harbaugh to fix the Chargers.
Buffalo Bills (5-2) at Seattle Seahawks (4-3)
TV: FOX | Announcers: Kevin Burkhardt, Tom Brady, Erin Andrews (field reporter), Tom Rinaldi (field reporter)
If the Bills can’t hang at least 29 points on the Seahawks and win in Seattle does that mean the Giants are better than the Bills?
4:25 p.m.
Carolina Panthers (1-6) at Denver Broncos (4-3)
TV: CBS | Announcers: Chris Lewis, Jason McCourty, Amanda Guerra (field reporter)
The return of Bryce Young to the lineup for Carolina. Let’s see how this goes.
Kansas City Chiefs (6-0) at Las Vegas Raiders (2-5)
TV: CBS | Announcers: Kevin Harlan, Trent Green, Melanie Collins (field reporter)
The Chiefs are 6-0 and most analysts don’t even believe they have played well. Must be nice.
Chicago Bears (4-2) at Washington Commanders (5-2)
TV: CBS | Announcers: Jim Nantz, Tony Romo, Tracy Wolfson (field reporter)
Jayden Daniels will play for Washington. so, we get the Daniels vs. Caleb Williams matchup.
8:20 p.m.
Dallas Cowboys (3-3) at San Francisco 49ers (3-4)
TV: NBC | Announcers: Mike Tirico, Cris Collinsworth, Melissa Stark (field reporter)
National Radio: Westwood One — Ryan Radtke, Mike Golic
Who figured these teams would have a combined losing record heading into Week 8? What craziness will Jerry Jones spew if Dallas loses?
