The Los Angeles Rams take on the Minnesota Vikings in Week 8 and face their biggest challenge yet
The Los Angeles Rams (2-4) host the Minnesota Vikings (5-1) on Thursday Night Football for Week 8 of the NFL season. The Vikings just lost their first game of the season at the hands of the Detroit Lions, whereas the Rams are coming off a win against the New Vegas Raiders. This could be a “get right” game for the Vikings, but it could also be a launching pad for the Rams.
If LA can find a way to win this game, then they will rise to 3-4 with a chance to be .500 when they play the Seattle Seahawks in Week 9. If LA loses their season isn’t over, but a playoff run will be hard to envision.
The Vikings had control of the NFC North until last week when they lost to the Lions. Head coach Kevin O’Connell so far has shown he belongs as a leading man in the NFL, and with O’Connell also calling the plays look out for Justin Jefferson and Sam Darnold to get on track against LA’s secondary (who might be playing the best that they’ve been all season).
Sean McVay and Matthew Stafford should have plenty to prepare for against Brian Flores and the Vikings’ defense. Will LA’s offensive line be able to hold up against the blitz? Will they be able to hold up in general?
You’re going to have to tune in to find out!
