The Minnesota Vikings are the surprise of the season so far. They are 5-1, and quarterback Sam Darnold looks like the guy he was drafted to be.
They are coming off their first loss of the season, but a road test against the 2-4 Los Angeles Rams could get them back on track.
Rumors have been swirling around wide receiver Cooper Kupp as the deadline approaches. A loss could tip the scales on a Rams team that is getting long in the tooth. Guys like quarterback Matthew Stafford are also having a rough season without a good offensive line in front of them.
They could make a flurry of moves and prepare for a rebuild with a loss this week, or they could attempt to keep things rolling by getting Kupp and possibly Puka Nacua back tonight from injury.
