A couple of starters dinged up.
As the Cincinnati Bengals get ready for Sunday’s contest against the Philadelphia Eagles, they have a couple of starters who are in jeopardy of missing the game.
On the team’s official injury report, left tackle Orlando Brown Jr. was listed as a limited participant in practice after the a knee injury knocked him out of last week’s game against the Cleveland Browns. Media, who attended practice Wednesday, noted that Brown was in uniform, did go through stretches, but did not participate in individual or team drills in the open portion of practice.
Safety Geno Stone (shin) was listed as a non-participant. After a scary scene in Cleveland, reports are that Stone looks to have avoided serious injury, as he was seen in the locker room walking under his own power after the game. Stone’s participation will be something to watch throughout the week.
Head Coach Zac Taylor did express confidence that both veterans could play Sunday if they don’t practice this week, but it would come down to medical clearance.
Defensive end Trey Hendrickson was listed as a non participant, but it is not injury related. It is likely just a veteran’s rest day.
As has been the case in recent weeks, Joe Burrow (wrist) and Kris Jenkins (thumb) were on the report, but both were full participants. They are likely only listed because they received some form of treatment from the team’s medical staff.
