The latest news on who’s in and who’s out.
The Philadelphia Eagles officially announced the inactives list for their 2024 NFL Week 7 game against the New York Giants.
The following Eagles players WILL NOT PLAY: Dallas Goedert, Byron Young, Eli Ricks, Tanner McKee, Darian Kinnard, Trevon Keegan.
The big news is that Darius Slay WILL play despite being ruled questionable. Not exactly shocking since he was a full participant in Friday’s practice.
Goedert was ruled out on Friday’s final injury report. His absence leaves the Eagles with just two healthy tight ends: Grant Calcaterra and Jack Stoll.
Young was ruled out on the final injury report. He’s been a healthy scratch all season anyway.
Ricks was ruled questionable on the final injury report. He’s often been a healthy scratch anyway.
Nick Gates is active after being a healthy scratch last week. Interesting to see that he’s up over Darian Kinnard, who has more experience at tackle and could be useful to have around with Jordan Mailata on injured reserve.
Under the NFL’s third quarterback rule, McKee is only allowed to play if both Jalen Hurts AND Kenny Pickett leave the game due to injury.
