Miami Dolphins @ Indianapolis Colts Predictions and Players You Would Steal

Miami Dolphins @ Indianapolis Colts Predictions and Players You Would Steal

With our Miami Dolphins traveling this week to take on the Indianapolis Colts tomorrow afternoon. I asked the customary two questions this past week. Below are the questions and some of your thoughts and answers to the question(s) of the day.

If you could steal any player from the Indianapolis Colts roster to place on the Miami Dolphins roster, which player would it be and why?

Bill Moody echoes a common sentiment around these parts.

For sure it would be #28, Noah Igbanoghene… Naah, J/K, we got RBs, it would be their best Guard.

daytonadolfan is ready to switch the whole thing out.

The whole offensive line?

From what I can tell, SlayerNation1 is quite unhappy with the current situation and the coaching staff.

N/A Any competent player, upon arrival, is neutered by the Kumbaya Culture and becomes half the man they used to be. The Players-Run-The-Team/Spineless HC experiment has created an unintended monster. I know, I know Second Place in the Division. I saw it this morning in Black/White in the free copy of USA Today.

finfanfromsiam wants the big 6’5 330 pound guard.

Quenton Nelson!

21Dave wants some linemen and a stud RB, and then he has some plans.

Braden Smith, Quentin Nelson and Jonathan Taylor.i would then trade off Taylor for 2 picks and draft 2 more OL wherever those picks fell. But then again, a backfield of Achane and Taylor and our boy from Tenn. Brain fart can’t remember his name right now does sounds dangerous.

Alley Gator is interested in the vetran QB.

Joe Flacco. I bet he can complete passes to Waddle and Hill, better WR’s than he had in the Super Bowl.

Louie the lobster wants the big DE to go along with the big G.

Latu and Nelson

DolphinsKings1 is with the lobster for at least one player.

I will steal Nelson. Better than average RG.

A) What will be the final score in this week’s Miami Dolphins game against the Indianapolis Colts?

B) What other predictions do you have for the upcoming game against the Colts? (stars of the game, etc.)

Spok507 has the Dolphins scoring a respectable amount of points in a victory.

It looks like the Colts injury list rivals ours. Their starting center, best run blocker, RB, backup RB were all DNPs. Two of their best three WRs are DNPs. They signed Ahmed to the PS, so maybe we’ll be facing Salvon instead of Taylor/Sermon. And it seems they might be trending toward Richardson to start who hasn’t really been making waves. So who knows? Huntley apparently had a good practice session with Waddle and Jonnu Smith over the bye while others were jetting off to Europe. So hopefully they got a little more comfortable with each other. If Achane can go, Mostert, Wright and Achane should be able to run against the Colts D, and our D should be able to confuse and rattle Richardson — especially if Holland can go. If they play Flacco, the D will have a more difficult job, but I still think they can handle it. I’m going to be optimistic and believe the Fins have improved, so Dolphins 24/Colts 13.

daytonadolfan is even more optimistic.

31-13 Dolphins! I know, crazy, right? It’s the numbers I keep seeing in my head…………. Not much else in there, so there it is !!

wolfpack1 is not nearly as optimistic.

The Dolphins SHOULD be able to move the ball and put up points against Indy. However, I don’t think that will happen. Colts: 21, Dolphins:10

finfanfromsiam says it is a close game, but the winner is up in the air.

The Colts have lost by 4 points or less every game. Im saying 14-13…winner will be…flip a coin…!

Alpha6 has the Phins with an 11-point win behind a solid defensive effort.

What I see is the Dolphins 28, Colts 17. The defense gets two interceptions.

USMCFinzFreak also has the Phins with the win.

Miami 27 Ind 17

Brickley sees the offense failing again and the Phins losing by four.

I see another low-scoring affair. Defense will play well, offense will put together drives but only score one TD. We’ll probably lose due to a special teams snafu. 20-16 Colts.

MiMiami has Miami winning behind a good run game and some solid defensive play.

Who is going to win straight up? Miami

What is your final score prediction win or lose? 20 – 17

Who do you think will be the star(s) of the game on offense? Jaylen Wright and Trey Sermon

Who do you think will be the star(s) of the game on defense? Ramsey gets an INT

What other bold prediction do you have for this week’s game? Miami plays TO free football. Anthony Richardson flat out blows the W for IND.

What will you be watching for that no one else seems to be discussing? Our draft position tumble and the Tua-to-Return hype.

MIAMI235 thinks this game hinges on the head coach’s ability to pivot after an off week. McDaniel still has much to prove, and this week will be one of those tests he needs to pass.

Let’s dumb it down to perhaps the most important question. Is HC Mike MCD, a good enough Coach, to have his Team ready to go after the bye week and good game plan to achieve a Win ?

DolphinsKings1 has Miami pulling it out after a fairly solid day from the offense and the defense.

27 – 26 Dolphins (Last second FG 42 yards at the buzzer).

PASSING : Huntley 24 of 38 230 yards 2TD’s 2 INTS

RUSHING: Mostert, Achane, & Wright combine for 205 yards rushing on 43 carries (1 TD Mostert)

RECEIVING: Hill 8 113 TD, Smith 7 59 TD, OBJ 5 36, Waddle 4 28

DEFENSE:

Sacks 3 (Brooks, Sieler, & Campbell)

Forced Fumble Recovery: Needham and Ramsey

Yarganaught sees an offensive explosion this week.

A) What will be the final score in this week’s Miami Dolphins game against the Colts?

I think Miami figures some things out, and offer Hunley a chance at playing to his strengths instead of Tua’s. Hill and Waddle figure out how to get yards, and we see Miami put up 5 TDs. 38-17 Miami wins.

B) What other predictions do you have for the upcoming game against the Colts? (stars of the game, etc.)

I think Hill gets 200 yrds and 3 TDs… though, he may only have 5 catches. lol

SlayerNation1 has Miami losing despite the extra time to prepare for this game.

IND 30- MIA 20

If I know Miami yielded 7.9/carry @NE, I am assuming Shane Steichen also knows that stat.

Richardson can run and Taylor is back and a better OLine than NE. It is 11 on 11 with Richardson starting so they will run and screen the Defense to submission. Couple that with Huntley’s 3/Outs and that is the game.

I don’t trust Mike with extra time to prepare. If the 7 months to prepare for Week 1 is any indication, He does not use the time effectively, especially for a third year HC. Look for more unpreparedness.

Viewing Experience:

FOX Broadcast,Kevin Kugler, Daryl Johnston.

At least that is a fairly unobtrusive broadcast team.

phinette has a win by a field goal.

17-14 Dolphins. The big news of the game is a TE makes a catch.

Tua2HillWaddle has Tyreek showing up this week and leading the team to a win.

24-20 fins. Tyreek time

I am surprised there is so much optimism despite the win in the last game. I think Miami’s hope is tied to the run game, but I also fear that McDaniel will try too hard, get too cute, and lose the game by running overly complicated plays. I hope I am wrong and he has learned his lesson.

As always, thank you to everyone who read and responded to the question of the day posts. We will return next Tuesday evening with a new question of the day as we prepare for the game against the Arizona Cardinals.
