Running back Jonathan Taylor has been ruled OUT for Sunday’s game against the Dolphins due to an ankle injury. Taylor injured his ankle against the Steelers three weeks ago and has been unable to practice again this week. With Taylor out expect a rotation of Trey Sermon and Tyler Goodson and maybe Evan Hull too at running back.
Right tackle Braden Smith is listed as QUESTIONABLE for Sunday’s game against the Dolphins with knee and an ankle injuries. Smith missed practice Wednesday but practice full on Thursday before missing practice again on Friday, which is starting to appear like his regular practice schedule. Smith is likely to play but if he cannot play Sunday expect either second year Blake Freeland or rookie Matt Goncalves to start at right tackle.
Wide receiver Josh Downs is listed as QUESTIONABLE for Sunday’s game against the Dolphins with a toe injury. Downs missed practice on Wednesday but managed two limited practices this week with the toe injury. Downs appears to be a game time decision on Sunday. If Downs is unable to play expect to see Anthony Gould active and get reps from the slot.
Wide receiver Michael Pittman is listed as QUESTIONABLE for Sunday’s game against the Dolphins with a back injury. Pittman missed two practices this week with the back injury but managed a full practice on Thursday. Pittman looks to be another game time decision. If Pittman is unable to play expect to see AD Mitchell to line up in the outside in his place.
Wide receiver Alec Pierce is listed as QUESTIONABLE for Sunday’s game against the Dolphins with a shoulder injury. Pierce missed Thursday’s practices this week with the shoulder injury but managed a full practice on Friday. If Pierce is unable to play expect to see AD Mitchell to get more reps in his place.
Linebacker EJ Speed is listed as QUESTIONABLE for Sunday’s game against the Dolphins with a knee injury. Speed missed practice Wednesday but has steadily progressed throughout the week. If Speed cannot play Sunday expect Jayron Carlies to get the start in his place.
Defensive end Dayo Odeyingbo is listed as QUESTIONABLE for Sunday’s game against the Dolphins with a hamstring injury. Odeyingbo has only managed one limited practice all week while he deals with the hamstring injury. Odeyingbo has been valuable over the season starting at defensive end and even moving unsure too when needed too. If Odeyingbo cannot okay Sunday, expect a remain of Laiatu Latu, Kwity Paye, Isaiah Land and Adam Gotsis at defensive end.
