A former special teams contributor has been re-signed to the Colts practice squad, as they prepare for the Dolphins.
The Indianapolis Colts made their latest practice squad move on Thursday by resigning former wideout Ethan Fernea and waiving linebacker Austin Ajiake in a corresponding roster move:

Fernea was signed by the Colts as an undrafted free agent out of UCLA during 2022 and has appeared in 4 games over the 2022-23 seasons, predominantly playing on special teams. He also has experience playing running back, having played it collegiately with the Bruins before making a transition back to wide receiver at the pro level.
Ajiake had been on the Colts practice squad since late August, but had yet to appear in a game so far this season. He’s also spent time on the Denver Broncos’, Las Vegas Raiders’, and Green Bay Packers’ practice squads to start his initial NFL career as a UDFA out of UNLV.
Backup cornerback Chris Lammons, who hasn’t practiced yet this week because of a listed ankle injury, could be the reason for Fernea’s recent practice squad re-signing. In addition to backing up the slot, Lammons is also one of the Colts top’ special teams gunners.
