The Denver Broncos visit the New Orleans Saints on Thursday Night Football to start Week 7.
The first five weeks of the NFL’s Thursday Night Football schedule featured intra-division rivalry games. In Week 7, that changes as the Denver Broncos head to Louisiana to face the New Orleans Saints. It marks the first time Broncos head coach Sean Payton faces the Saints, the team he coached to a Super Bowl. How will his return play out?
It is time for our contributors to make their picks for the game. Each week throughout the season, our group of contributors pick the straight-up winners for every game, working our way from Wee 1 through the Super Bowl. They can also make picks against the spread and over or under the point spread. The odds are brought to us by FanDuel sportsbook.
As of Thursday morning, the Broncos were favored by 2.5 points, with the point total set at 37.5. The Broncos were -146 on the moneyline for the straight-up win while the Saints were +124.
As a group, we had another strong week in Week 6. James McKinney missed a perfect week by one selection, expecting the Tennessee Titans to have come away with the win over the Indianapolis Colts – a game decided by a field goal. He finished the week 13-1. Marek Brave and I were both 12-2 on the week, while Sumeet Jena was 11-3.
For the season, our standings are:
Marek Brave (58-34)
James McKinney (58-34)
Sumeet Jena (57-35)
Kevin Nogle (54-38)
And, as always, thanks to Tallysight for allowing us to use of their widget for publishing our picks.
