What Sean McDermott said about new Bills WR Amari Cooper
The Buffalo Bills are likely excited to get Amari Cooper through the doors at One Bills Drive in Orchard Park.
However, head coach Sean McDermott is putting all the pressure in the world on him before he even does so.
McDermott commented on Cooper’s acquisition via trade with the Cleveland Browns this week. While expressing positives, McDermott did pump the brakes a bit.
“He’ll fit into that equation and we’ll get him integrated. Excited to see how quickly we can get him up to speed here,” McDermott said. “One player doesn’t save a team, one player doesn’t make a team.”
As for Cooper, he expressed being happy about the change.
“I’m just excited to turn a new chapter and to be able to contribute,” Cooper said.
