Los Angeles Rams News and Links for 10/15/24
The Los Angeles Rams reportedly have a new partnership with Genius Sports. You can read more about it below, but if I am understanding this right it allows for the Rams to track more data to share with fans while at the games. I suppose it’s more interaction and in theory it’s another way to engage fans. We’ll see how it plays out but it looks like LA is trying something. We’ll how long it lasts.
Please comment on whatever you’d like, thanks for checking out Turf Show Times and have a great Tuesday!

“The technologically advanced home of the Los Angeles Rams is about to have a new way for fans to track players’ statistics from their seats during the game.
The Rams announced a partnership with Genius Sports, a data, technology and broadcast company that serves the sports, betting and media industries, in a press release on Monday.
Now, at every Rams home game, fans can use Genius Sports’ data processing and artificial intelligence tool GeniusIQ to track everything from how fast a player is running to how much time the quarterback has to throw.”
Sean McVay said Cooper Kupp could be ready to return this week, but there’s also a possibility Kupp might not be.
“Today is a big day for him,” McVay said, in terms of determining availability for the rest of the week.

“McVay said Kupp will go through a workout with trainers on Monday, which will help determine whether the receiver is ready to get back on the field this weekend.
McVay also added that he wants to see “return to performance,” which is different than simply “return to play.” In other words, he wants to make sure Kupp is all the way back and 100% healthy before taking the field.”
