Week 6 wraps up with a big AFC East matchup
Week 6 in the NFL concludes with a big AFC East matchup between the Buffalo Bills and New York Jets.
Josh Allen and the Bills head into the contest with a one-game lead over Aaron Rodgers and the Jets for first place in the division. Adding to the drama, this will be the first game for Rodgers and New York after firing head coach Robert Saleh as former defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich steps in. Also, these two teams are considered to be in the Davante Adams sweepstakes.

I’m pivoting away from my pick in the Pick’em competition as I’ve had a change of heart. While he wants to deny any involvement in Saleh’s firing, where there’s smoke there’s fire and I think Rodgers will be on a mission tonight to prove to the world that Saleh was the Jets’ biggest problem. Plus, the Bills have lost back-to-back games after starting the year 3-0, and their three wins came against the Cardinals, the Dolphins where Tua Tagovailoa left early with a concussion, and the Jaguars. In other words, Buffalo is on fraud watch so I’ll take the home dog instead.
As for the injury report, the Bills have several players listed but no one has been ruled out at the time of writing. Running back James Cook (toe), cornerback Taron Johnson (forearm), defensive tackle Austin Johnson (oblique) and wide receiver Khalil Shakir (ankle) are all listed as questionable. Meanwhile, the Jets will be without cornerback Michael Carter II (back), and tight end Tyler Conklin (hip) and linebacker C.J. Mosley (toe) are questionable.
