Jordan Hicks can’t go but Denzel Ward is active
The injury story in the Week 6 matchup between the Cleveland Browns and Philadelphia Eagles was a simple one: One team was very healthy coming off their bye week and the other was very beat up.
The final injury report of the week had all Eagles players practicing at full capacity while the Browns ruled out six, including a few starters, and have four questionable players. Saturday, Cleveland erased some doubt with two of their questionable players, DT Maurice Hurst and LB Mohamoud Diabate, being activated from injured reserve.
DT Mike Hall Jr. was also activated as was expected.
Now, with 90 minutes left until kickoff, we find out about the other two questionable players for the visitors with CB Denzel Ward able to play but LB Jordan Hicks joining a number of other starters as inactive:
Browns Inactives
- QB Dorian Thompson-Robinson (3QB)
- S Grant Delpit
- S Ronnie Hickman
- C Ethan Pocic
- LB Jordan Hicks
- DT Quinton Jefferson
- WR Jamari Thrash
Nick Harris will start at center and Michael Dunn will be at right guard. Devin Bush takes over the starting linebacker spot while Rodney McLeod and D’Anthony Bell are the starting safeties.
Eagles Inactives
- QB Tanner McKee (3QB)
- CB Eli Ricks
- OL Nick Gates
- OL Darian Kinnard
- OL Trevor Keegan
- DT Byron Young
All of the above players are healthy scratches.
