The fanbase has spoken.
The Cincinnati Bengals are off to a slow start this season and now have brought plenty of questions from the fanbase and the media across the league.
Despite some solid offensive efforts and some decent defensive performances, the Bengals have yet to put together a complete all-around game. It seems to finally push them over the hump they seem to be sliding down to start the year.
With the trade deadline approaching, we asked the fanbase in our latest SB Nation reacts poll what position the franchise should target.
The winner of this week’s poll at 38% is a defensive tackle. That was followed closely by defensive end (25%), cornerback (24%), safety (9%), and other position (4%).
Additionally, only 13% of fans said that they were confident in the direction of this franchise.
The defensive line have been battling injuries all season to this point, and have slowly started to make their way back onto the field over the last few weeks.
Despite that, it is still a position that the team needs to bolster as they hope to turn this season around.
With the injury this past week to Dax Hill, the cornerback spot will likely be one we see the front office address if play at the position starts to slump.
Now we wait and see.
