Which quarterback would you prefer?
Sunday, when the Las Vegas Raiders return to Allegiant Stadium to play host the Pittsburgh Steelers, it is expected to be a quarterback matchup featuring Justin Fields of the Steelers.
As Fields recently explained, it could have been him donning the Silver and Black in this game instead of Gardner Minshew, who was signed in free agency. Fields recently said the Raiders were on of the teams that reached out to the Chicago Bears prior to him being traded to Pittsburgh in March.
It wasn’t a surprise. There were rumblings the Raiders could be interested in Fields, who was in Chicago with new Las Vegas offensive coordinator Luke Getsy. But, the truth is, if the Raiders truly wanted Fields, they could have gotten him.
Minshew was signed by the Raiders before Fields was traded.
Both Minshew, who was benched Sunday, and Fields have had their moments with their new teams heading into this game. Now, that Fields is coming to Las Vegas on Sunday, who would you rather playing for the Raiders?
