The Bengals are picked to beat the Giants on the road under the lights in Week 6.
The Cincinnati Bengals’ playoff hopes are officially on life support after they lost a heartbreaking fourth game in overtime to the Baltimore Ravens in Week 5. They now head to East Rutherford to face the New York Giants on Sunday Night Football in Week 6.
According to FanDuel Sportsbook, the 1-4 Bengals are opening as 3.5-point favorites on the road against the 2-3 Giants. They’re the only 1-4 team to still be favored to win, especially on the road.
The Bengals are now officially in desperation mode. They’re not mathematically eliminated from the postseason, but getting in at this point would require a massive win streak. If that win streak doesn’t start against the Giants, anything that comes after will likely be too little, too late.
This game starts a string of winnable games for the Bengals that includes the Browns, Eagles, and Raiders before they take on the Ravens again in mid-November.
Hopefully, the Bengals will figure out a way to get their season back on track under the lights on Sunday night.
