Earlier this week, I asked my customary two questions about the upcoming game on Sunday. This week, we face off against the New England Patriots in an away game. Below are the questions and some of your answers-
If you could steal any player from the New England Patriots roster to place on the Miami Dolphins roster, which player would it be and why?
daytonadolfan says no to all of them!
I want no one from them; they are worse than we are now!
Reid305 wants the Pats safety and corner.
Kyle Dugger and Christian Gonzalez
Alley Gator obviously wants to get ahold of their rookie first-round quarterback!
Obviously I’d take Drake Maye, given the uncertain present and future of our starting QB’s. His nice rookie contract will also help take the sting out of paying Tua’s contract.
21Dave just wants the damn offensive line fixed already…we are ALL with you!
I’m not sure who their OC is or who is on their OL, but I would take a shot at both.
Louie the Lobster is on board with the CB Gonzalez and defensive end Wise.
I would take wise and their cb. I think his name is Gonzalez
Snook2006 also wants to see what the rookie would look like on the Phins roster.
Their rookie QB.
DolphinsKings1 wants the 330-pound DT.
I would steal Godchaux. We need a better NT. Jones is awful.

finfanfromsiam predicts a near win doomed by poor coaching decisions at the very end.
Down 10-9 with 3 seconds left, McGlasses fails to call timeout in time to kick the field goal and we lose by that score adding to the embarrassing season so far………
TheMiamiUte sees the Dolphins only mustering a single field goal in a loss.
NE wins it 13-3…
daytonadolfan is predicting a very sad score for both teams.
3-3 , ends in a tie ! Honestly , who knows . With an extra week with the #1’s maybe Snoop can do something but I’m not holding my breath!
Wildfin22 is predicting the win, and if the Phins score three touchdowns this week, it will truly be a win after what we have just seen over the last few weeks…

Dolfanjoe sees a loss but a nice day for Duck and Snoop will have to run around a lot.
Hmm, lost our best pass rusher. Opening on the regular roster! Who will that be ? 10 to 20 we lose a pretty close one this week. Star of the game will be Duck ! An Interception ! On offense Snoop runs for his life for 78 yards ! NE feels good fighting for the AFC East !
tpl sees a blowout loss to NE followed by both the head coach and GM being canned.
New England is going to win.

MiMiami sees Miami and Tyreek both going down, resulting in another start of a rebuild…

Who do you think will be the star(s) of the game on offense? Jacoby Brisset turns in a respectable game against his former squad with 1 TD and no TOs. Jason Sanders nails a 55 yard FG.
Who do you think will be the star(s) of the game on defense? Ramsey continues to shut everyone down. C Gonzalez keeps Hill in check.
What other bold prediction do you have for this week’s game? Tyreek Hill suffers a season ending injury on the turf field. Potential trade assets and value begin to plummet ahead of the inevitable rebuild.
What will you be watching for that no one else seems to be discussing? I’ll be watching my grass and plants grow. And just about anything else other than this game.
SlayerNation1 sees the defense holding on until they get worn down by being on the field the entire time.
NE 23 MIA 16, The Defense holds it down for the first half and then gets worn down.

You will see a much better game from the offense. Bank that.
SuperG! sees a snoozer of a game come down to a bad play by the Phins, which ultimately results in a loss.
Score prediction, 0-0 late in the 4th quarter. In an eager attempt to please his coaches, Cam Smith tries to be the hero and go for a pick-6 but whiffs so badly that it instead becomes a 50 yard catch and run TD on a pass from Jake Brisket to some uninspiring, unnamable PayToilets WR. Dolphins lose 7-0. However, no one is disappointed since no one bothered to watch the game anyway.
AussieFin has an ugly game, resulting in a Miami win.
I predict that our top player “Penalties” will get 100 yards, no TD’s will occur, we will win with a 58 yard FG at the end and Coach MMD will say he is happy with our team as we have just defeated an NFL powerhouse.
USMCFinzFreak has the tight win going to the Phins.

It’s a mixed bag of predictions, for sure. I am happy to see some positivity, even if I may have lost my own. I fear this thing will have to be torn down again and rebuilt, but it’s all out of our hands, as usual. Just imagine how different things could have been had the front office bothered to fix the weakest piece of the team in the offseason: the offensive line!?!
