Odell Beckham Jr. will make his Miami Dolphins debut after starting the season on the physically unable to perform list.

The Miami Dolphins have activated wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. from the physically unable to perform list. The three-time Pro Bowl wide receiver is set to make his Dolphins debut Sunday against the New England Patriots after being sidelined for four weeks by a knee issue.

Last season, Beckham played in 14 games for the Baltimore Ravens, catching 35 of 64 targets for 565 yards and three touchdowns, one of which was a six-yard reception from current Dolphins quarterback Tyler Huntley. The addition of Beckham should spark a Miami passing attack that has averaged only 143 yards per game over the last three weeks.

Miami re-signed quarterback Tim Boyle to the practice squad as its 17th player on Saturday, just one day after releasing him from the 53-man roster. Boyle was elevated for Sunday’s game to back up Huntley, with Skylar Thompson still limited due to a rib injury.

With safety Jordan Poyer sidelined, versatile defensive back Nik Needham is set to make his 2024 debut Sunday against the Patriots. Needham played in 10 games last season, logging 57 of his 108 snaps at slot cornerback, though the sixth-year defensive back also has experience at boundary corner and safety.
