For the Los Angeles Rams 2-3 looks infinitely better than 1-4
The Los Angeles Rams (1-3) host the Green Bay Packers (2-2) for Week 5 of the NFL season. Will LA be able to secure a huge victory here and go off into their bye week with some positive momentum? Or will Matt LaFleur once again beat Sean McVay and the Rams? LaFleur, who once coached under McVay, has a perfect 4-0 record against his former boss.
The Packers would rise above .500 with a win here, and the Rams would fall to well below sea level at 1-4 with a loss on Sunday. It’s the NFL so both teams want to win this game, both teams need to win this game.

Jordan Love returned to the lineup last week, and although he has started for both of the Packer’s losses this season (The Rich Eisen Show pointed that fun fact out), it’s probably unanimous that the Packers are better with Love in the lineup than without. Even without wideout Christian Watson, Love can carve up the Rams on Sunday.
Green Bay also has stud running back Josh Jacobs. We just saw what D’Andre Swift did to LA, and though Jacobs and Swift are not the same player, they do play the same position and the Rams are once again facing a talented running back. Will they fair better this week?
LA has ways to win this game, but to put it simply it would seem that Green Bay has more. Despite how negative everything may feel for the Rams they still do have Sean McVay and Matthew Stafford. They have a chance in this game, and to some extent that is all a team can ask for, but I can’t honestly pick them to come away victorious right now.
Green Bay 27, Rams 17
So I am picking the Packers here, but like any good TV show you’ll have to tune in to see what happens!
