Hilton is trending toward missing this one.
A monster game looms for the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday, as the Baltimore Ravens come to Paycor Stadium to open AFC North play. At 1-3 with two losses in the AFC already, the Bengals desperately need a win against their division rivals.
The Bengals got good news on their defensive line on Wednesday, and Thursday’s injury report continues to look positive.
Defensive end Trey Hendrickson (limited) was back at practice for the second straight day after suffering a neck stinger in Week 3 against the Carolina Panthers. Barring any setbacks, Hendrickson should be good to go Sunday.
Defensive tackles BJ Hill (hamstring) and McKinnley Jackson were both on the field Thursday as well. Hill was listed as a limited participant and appears to have a good chance of playing Sunday. Jackson has been sidelined since August 8th, so the team may wait to activate him fully from injured reserve.
Mike Hilton (knee) was again out of practice, leaving his status for Sunday in doubt. Earlier in the week, Head coach Zac Taylor said that Hendrickson could play without practicing, so it will be interesting to see how they approach game day with Hilton.
Sheldon Rankins (hamstring) remained sidelined and is pretty much a lock to be out Sunday.
Germaine Pratt (ankle) was limited for a second straight day, so it will be interesting to see how much work he gets on Friday.
For the Ravens, it was mostly the same except for backup cornerback Arthur Maulet (knee/hamstring) being downgraded from limited to DNP.
Practice squad running back Rasheen Ali (neck) was also added to the injury report as a limited participant.
