Dolphins at Patriots Wednesday Injury Report: Odell Beckham Jr, returns, Terron Armstead limited

Dolphins at Patriots Wednesday Injury Report: Odell Beckham Jr, returns, Terron Armstead limited
Sam Navarro-USA TODAY Sports

Wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. is trending towards his Miami Dolphins debut this weekend against the New England Patriots.

Wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. and cornerback Cam Smith were full participants in Wednesday’s practice after starting the season on the physically unable to perform (PUP) list. Players on the PUP list must miss at least four games, and Wednesday’s injury report suggests both could return Sunday against the New England Patriots.

Left tackle Terron Armstead and cornerback Kendall Fuller were limited in Wednesday’s practice after missing Week 4 against the Tennessee Titans due to concussions. Safety Jordan Poyer (shin) and linebacker Jaelan Phillips, who recently announced his season-ending injury, both missed practice.

Wide receiver Braxton Berrios (ankle), linebacker David Long (hamstring), running back Raheem Mostert (chest), linebacker Duke Riley (hamstring), quarterback Skyler Thompson (ribs), wide receiver Malik Washington (quadricep), and running back Jeff Wilson Jr. (knee) were all limited.

The Patriots listed 15 players on Wednesday’s injury report. Tackle Caedan Wallace (ankle), safety Jabrill Peppers (shoulder), wide receiver K.J. Osborn (shoulder), safety Kyle Dugger (ankle), and center David Andrews, who is expected to undergo season-ending shoulder surgery.

Tight end Jaheim Bell (neck), wide receiver Kendrick Bourne (knee), linebacker Anfernee Jennings (shoulder), defensive back Jonathan Jones (shoulder), guard Mike Jordan (ankle), guard Nick Leverett (ankle), tackle Vederian Lowe (knee), safety Marte Mapu (calf), guard Layden Robinson (ankle/wrist) and linebacker Sione Takitaki (knee) were limited for New England.

With 28 combined players on the injury report, Thursday’s update should provide clarity on who will be available for this weekend’s divisional matchup between two teams desperate for a win.
