Henry was signed off the Bengals practice squad.
The Cincinnati Bengals have waived punter Brad Robbins, the team announced Tuesday.
Robbins, a second-year player, was returned to the active roster from the injured reserve list yesterday. He originally was a sixth-round draft pick of the Bengals in 2023.
This means that the Bengals are committed to Ryan Rehkow being the team’s punter following his solid start through the first four games.
In addition, the Bengals are losing practice squad defensive end KJ Henry, who is signing a two-year deal with the Dallas Cowboys, according to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler.
Henry, a second-year player, joined the Bengals off waivers from the Washington Commanders following final roster cuts. After spending two weeks on the 53-man roster, he was waived and signed to the team’s practice squad.
