This is important
With the Minnesota Vikings heading overseas this week to be a part of the NFL’s International Series when they take on the New York Jets, we wanted to give you a couple of quick reminders about the broadcast schedule for this Sunday.
The game will be kicking off on Sunday morning at 8:30 AM Central time. The game will also not be broadcast on CBS or FOX, but rather will be shown exclusively on the NFL Network. So, you will have to figure out whether your cable or streaming package has the NFL Network between now and Sunday.
The exceptions to this are if you live in the greater Twin Cities area, in which case the game will be broadcast on KARE-11, which is the local NBC affiliate for Minneapolis/St. Paul. If you are closer to Jets territory, you’ll have to check your local listings, but I did manage to find that the game will be shown on WCBS-2, the local CBS affiliate, in the East Rutherford, New Jersey area.
You can also stream the game through the NFL+ app, and NFL dot com might have something on their site as well.
Yes, it’s going to be an early morning for this one, but hey. . .after the game is over you’ll have almost your entire Sunday to kick back and watch NFL RedZone or do something truly crazy like spend time with your family or get things done around the house. But the NFL Network is where you’ll find this one outside of the Twin Cities and whatever local affiliates in the New York/New Jersey area will be carrying the game.
