Another doubleheader with the always entertaining Will Levis playing tonight
We close out Week 4 of NFL football with yet another doublehader of one AFC and one NFC showdown. First the Tua-less Dolphins (- 144) host the Tennessee Titans (+ 122), with Miami opening up as 2.5-point favourites even despite playing Skylar Thompson at quarterback. Then the Lions (- 215) host the Seattle Seahawks (+ 180) with Detroit opening as 4-point favourites.
The Titans are 0-3 after another loss. The team has no offensive identity without Derrick Henry, who looks great with the Ravens, and they seem to be in a weird spot in-between rebuilding and going all in with Will Levis on a rookie contract. Running back Tony Pollard has not been playing well, and their once dominant defense looks a step slower.
The Dolphins were dominated by the Seahawks, on a game that looked over by the first quarter. Skylar Thompson is clearly not a viable starting choice in the NFL, and as long as Tua is out that high powered offense will continue to sputter.
As mentioned above, the Seahawks got an easy win against the Dolphins, despite some sloppy quarterback play by Geno Smith. Zach Charbonnet looked great, and the defense made easy work of both Dolphins’ quarterbacks. The Seahawks are now 3-0 and looking like the team to beat in their division surprisingly.
The Lions managed to beat the Arizona Cardinals and climb to 2-1, and with the Packers’ struggling it looks like they will contend with the Vikings for the division. This is a well put together team, both on offense and defense, and one that is never boring to watch.
The first game is going to be a fun to watch matchup between two really bad quarterbacks, and in the end I think that the more talented team will be able to come out with the win, and that is the Dolphins. Lions versus Seahawks is really tough to predict because those are two good teams so it could easily go either way.
