When things go good or they go bad, Kyren Williams will score
The Rams may seem “buried” in the NFC West standings with their 1-3 start to the season, but maybe buried underneath bad news is the fact that Kyren Williams continues to be one of the most prolific running backs in the NFL. The third-year running back out of Notre Dame scored his sixth touchdown of the season in L.A.’s loss to the Bears in Week 4, his league-leading 21st touchdown since the start of 2023.
And Williams missed five games last year.

Williams entered Week 4 with the most scoring touchdowns in the league this season and then he added another to give the Rams a chance to tie the score if they had converted a two-point conversion. Williams had 15 touchdowns in 2023 despite only playing in 12 games.
Nothing new for a player who scored 31 touchdowns over his final two seasons in college.
But the Rams need to figure out how to turn these scores into wins, which will be difficult with a defense ranked near the bottom of the league.
Sean McVay still hasn’t tapped into Blake Corum. The Rams gave Ronnie Rivers six carries behind Williams and he gained 26 yards on those plays.
For now, Kyren Williams is one of the few bright spots on the Rams, so I can understand why the team doesn’t think that “a different running back” will solve their 1-3 problem. Williams has been anything but the problem.
