Lions QB Jared Goff had a perfect night against the Seattle Seahawks, and he set an NFL record along the way.
The Detroit Lions’ offense was absolutely on fire against the Seattle Seahawks, and there is no better way to encapsulate the day than just looking at Jared Goff’s statline for the entire contest.

Goff finished with a literal perfect night. No incompletions, three total touchdowns en route to a 42-29 victory over the Seahawks. Goff’s night wasn’t just perfect. It was perfect in a record-setting fashion. Per ESPN’s Field Yates, Goff set the single game record for most passing attempts without an incompletion with 18.

To add onto Goff’s perfect night, it’s important to point out just how well-respected this Seahawks defense was going into this game. In the prior three games, they had not given up more than 140 net passing yards or a passer rating above 83.7. Goff blew those numbers away with 266 net passing yards and a whopping 16.2 yards per pass attempt.
