It is, once again, time for us to check out the results of this week’s SB Nation Reacts poll, checking the voice of Minnesota Vikings fans from around the internet on our topic of the week. Our question this week centered, once again, around the 2026 NFL Draft, which is just a week and a half away.
We wanted to know exactly how much of this year’s selection meeting you intend to watch. Last year, with the team making just five picks, and none on the second day, there wasn’t a whole lot of action to be had for our favorite squad. But this year promises to be different, and it appears that folks are going to be changing their viewing habits accordingly.
Of those who responded to our poll, 31% said that they would be watching both of the days that the Draft will air in prime time, that being Thursday and Friday. Another 27% said that they would be watching all three days of this year’s Draft, while 26% said that they wouldn’t be watching at all and would just follow our coverage here at The Daily Norseman. The other 16% said that they would just be watching Thursday night’s first-round coverage.
Now, obviously, because of the nature of what I do here, I’m going to be locked into all three days of Draft coverage. Even if I weren’t doing this job, I’d probably be watching quite a bit of it, because I have what people might call a “problem” in that I pay entirely too much attention to this sport. I was like that before I started doing this. In fact, if I hadn’t been, I probably wouldn’t be doing this job now. I will say that I appreciate that there are so many of you who will be stopping by on Draft Weekend to get the latest news and updates on what the team is doing, because that’s really what makes it worthwhile.
So, wherever you might be watching (or, in some cases, not watching) this year’s Draft from, we appreciate you taking the time to participate in this week’s poll. We’ll have another one coming up for you next week, so keep your eyes open for it.
