Zac Taylor attended the Texas A&M Pro Day on Wednesday. There is a lengthy list of prospects the Bengals could have interest in that played for the Aggies this past season.
Let’s take a look at some of the prospects coming out of Texas A&M this year.
KC Concepcion (Wide Receiver)
Concepcion is a 6’0”, 196-pound speedster who had over 900 receiving yards with 9 touchdowns in 2026. While some project him to go before the end of the first round, I think he could be available at pick #41 when the Bengals are on the clock in the second round. The main reason being that he has had a lot of issues with drops. He has 14 combined over the past two seasons.
Chase Bisontis (Offensive Guard)
Texas A&M will likely have four players drafted from its offensive line this year. Chase Bisontis is typically regarded as the highest-rated player of that group, and he could potentially be drafted during the 2nd round this year. Bisontis is 6’5” and 315 pounds. The junior had a highly impressive 9.85 relative athletic score at the NFL Scouting Combine this year. The athleticism shows up on tape. He is quick off the snap, blocks well on the move, and has quick feet that he pairs with active hands in pass protection.
Dametrious Crownover (Offensive Tackle)
Crownover is a massive tackle prospect. He originally went to Texas A&M as a tight end recruit. Crownover measured in at 6’7” and 319 pounds, with over 35” arm length at the scouting combine. He will have to cut down on the penalties, improve his pass blocking technique, and play with better pad level at the next level. I still expect that this is a developmental tackle prospect that someone will take a swing at in the middle rounds of the draft. It could end up being the Bengals, who are in the market for a swing tackle prospect. There is a lot of upside still with a player like Crownover.
Trey Zuhn III (Offensive Lineman)
Zuhn was the starting left tackle for four straight seasons at A&M. With less than 32” arm length, many project him to kick inside at the next level. He was able to get some experience doing that this past season, playing a little over 100 snaps at center during the year. Zuhn is a highly refined player in pass protection, posting a 96.8 pass blocking grade in 2025, while allowing just 10 total pressures the entire season.
Ar’maj Reed-Adams (Offensive Guard)
Reed-Adams is a mauler at right guard. I was much higher on him prior to the 2025 season. It appeared he dropped weight and wasn’t nearly as effective during this past season. His 20 penalties over the past two seasons are alarming, but he is a highly experienced guard who has logged snaps at every spot on the offensive line except for center. Reed-Adams is likely to go at some point on day three this year.
Cashius Howell (Defensive End)
Howell is a player who could slide into the second round and potentially end up being the top player available when the Bengals are on the clock. He doesn’t provide a lot as a run defender, and that is the main reason he could fall a bit farther than expected. What he does do is get after the quarterback. Howell had a 28.8% win rate on true pass sets in 2025, with 14 tackles for loss and 11.5 sacks. He is able to drop in coverage, and we saw last year that is something that Al Golden likes his defensive ends to be able to do.
Tyler Onyedim (Defensive Tackle)
Onyedim is a 6’3”, 292-pound defensive tackle who plays a lot bigger than his listed size. He was one of the best run defenders in college football this past season, as evidenced by his 11.7% stop rate. Onyedim is still a work in progress a bit as a pass rusher, but he has a good pass rush arsenal to work with. His spin move is one of the best there is for a defensive tackle. A likely day three pick that will provide a high floor as a run defender.
Albert Regis (Defensive Tackle)
Regis is a 6’1”, 295-pounder who played beside Onyedim this year on the defensive line. He is known as a team leader, reliable tackler, and has a surprising 9.10 relative athletic score. Regis does a good job of getting his hands in passing lanes and uses his natural leverage to his advantage against the run.
Taurean York (Linebacker)
York is a guy who certainly helped himself at the pro day yesterday. He was clocked at around a 4.5 40-yard dash time. That was crucial for a player who is listed at 5’11 and 226 pounds. The speed combined with his instincts at the position will give him a chance to make it in the NFL, in spite of his smaller size for the position. York was under-recruited and performed immediately as a true freshman at A&M. I won’t count him out from surprising a lot of people in the NFL either.
Will Lee III (Cornerback)
Lee is a long corner, coming in at 6’2”. He is also a thinner corner, weighing just 189 pounds at that height. He is a confident player who is physical in press-man coverage. He is competitive at the catch point and has 18 passes defensed over the last two seasons. Lee doesn’t have great top-end speed, running just a 4.52 40-yard dash time. I still think he can be a good corner in the NFL if he goes to a team that likes to utilize press-man coverage.
Scooby Williams (Linebacker)
Williams is a 6’2”, 231-pound linebacker prospect who met with the Bengals prior to the start of the pro day. Williams only played in 165 snaps during the 2025 season, battling injuries for the majority of the season. Williams is best known as a high-level run defender with good instincts and range.
