“We accomplished quite a lot during my time there, and I’m proud of that,” Wilson says after posting his retirement about 100 days from his 30th birthday. “The culture shift with Zac (Taylor) and the other coaches there. I just really enjoyed my time there. It was a perfect fit for who I am as a person coming from a smaller town. It was a blessing to play there for five-and-a-half years.”

I think Ty Simpson is the best quarterback in this class,” Orlovsky said on Monday morning. “I think when you look at the body of work and what was asked of these two quarterbacks, you have to start with the question, who needed to do more to carry their football team to play well? Ty Simpson, and it’s not close between those two quarterbacks. Who took more games over throughout the course of the season? Ty Simpson. It’s not even close.”
And while trading back to acquire picks would make a lot of sense if the first nine picks break as expected, let’s save the trade-back mock for later down the road.
“It doesn’t seem like he’s taken a break since the season ended. He got that call to the Pro Bowl and he’s just climbed,” McLeod said. “He’s been putting us on notice. ”
