The Los Angeles Rams announced the return of defensive lineman Larrell Murchison on Monday. Murchison is returning to L.A. for a fifth season on a one-year deal.
Without much fanfare, Murchison had two sacks on the Rams defense in 2025 on just 126 snaps. Although he is sure to continue to be buried underneath a talented group, Murchison is surely doing something right to get yet another training camp with Sean McVay.
The Rams first claimed Murchison off of waivers from the Titans in 2022. Although fans haven’t heard or seen much of him since then, Murchison hasn’t played anywhere else but with the Rams, including 34 games with L.A.. He missed all of 2024 on injured reserve but appeared in 16 games in 2025.
He had sacks against the Ravens and Jaguars in 2025. Now the 28-year-old (soon 29) looks to surprise people again with another season on the team.
