The NCAA Tournament is officially set to begin on Thursday, so Los Angeles Rams fans, who are you picking to win March Madness?
According to Yahoo Sports, about 29% of users have picked the Duke Blue Devils to win it all this year. The rest of their top five national championship picks included Arizona (22%), Michigan (14.3%), Florida (6.9%) and Houston (5.7%). On the men’s side, 14 of the last 18 national champs were number one seeds, which bodes well for top-seeded Duke, Michigan, Arizona and Florida.
As for the women’s bracket, UConn was the overwhelming favorite for over 50% of Yahoo Sports users, followed by UCLA (14%) and South Carolina (10.2%). Given that the Huskies enter the tournament 34-0, they appear set to win their 13th natty in program history.
For Rams fans, there is plenty of rooting interest with Los Angeles-based teams on both sides of the bracket. While the USC men’s team didn’t receive a bid, the women will face Clemson in the first round. Both the UCLA men’s and women’s teams made the dance, with the women set to capitalize on their first Final Four appearance in 2025.
Plenty of excitement is in the air as the sports world momentarily shifts its focus from football to basketball. Who are you picking to win March Madness on the men’s and women’s sides, Turf Show Ramily? Do you have any surprise Final Four picks or Cinderella runs?
