The new league year is here and, with it, the start of the NFL’s 2026 free agency period. Players who were on the last year of their contract in 2025 are now free to sign with other teams. The Miami Dolphins used the negotiating period to come to terms with quarterback Malik Willis, kicker Zane Gonzalez, and edge rusher Josh Uche. They also have positioned themselves to release quarterback Tua Tagovailoa and linebacker Bradley Chubb, likely giving both of them post-June 1 designations.
