As we told you earlier today, the Minnesota Vikings were officially awarded one extra Compensatory selection in the 2026 NFL Draft, the 97th overall selection, which is a third-round pick. Now that all of the Compensatory picks have been awarded, we want to let everyone know exactly which picks the Vikings have in this year’s selection meeting and how they came about getting them.
Here is the full list of the Vikings’ picks in the 2026 NFL Draft as they stand right now. If the team should make any trades or anything that changes this list, we will pass along updates as soon as we’re able.
- Round 1, #18 overall
- Round 2, #49 overall
- Round 3, #82 overall
- Round 3, #97 overall (Compensatory selection)
- Round 5, #163 overall (acquired from Philadelphia Eagles in Sam Howell trade)
- Round 5, #196 overall (acquired from Indianapolis Colts in Mekhi Blackmon trade)
- Round 7, #234 overall
- Round 7, #235 overall (acquired from Carolina Panthers in Adam Thielen trade)
- Round 7, #244 overall (acquired from Houston Texans in Cam Akers trade)
So, as it stands right now, the Vikings have nine selections in the 2026 NFL draft, including four in the top 100. If you’re scoring at home, that’s as many top 100 picks as they’ve had in the last three NFL Drafts combined.
- In 2023, they selected Jordan Addison at #23 in Round 1 and then didn’t select again until #102 overall (Blackmon)
- In 2024, they selected J.J. McCarthy at #10 and Dallas Turner at #17 and didn’t select again until #108 overall (Khyree Jackson, RIP)
- In 2025, they selected Donovan Jackson at #24 and didn’t select again until #102 (Tai Felton)
What will the Vikings do with those picks? Will they acquire more of them between now and when Round 1 kicks off in just over six weeks? Whatever they do, we’ll be here covering all of it for you.
