The 2027 NFL Free agent period kicks off Monday with the legal tampering period, and the new league year will officially start on Wednesday, the 11th. Compensatory picks are a large part of the NFL’s free agent equation essentially awarding teams for their losses in free agency. The Raiders are likely to be awarded a 4th, 5th, and potentially 7th round selection in the 2026 NFL draft. The Raiders are slated to have north of 90 million in projected cap space this off-season and due to NFL rules, are required to spend a significant portion across their three year cap space spending. It’ll be tough to see the Raiders receiving compensatory picks this off-season given the spending they’ll be required to have this off-season. Despite that, we’ll take a look at how the Raiders projected free agents stack up in the NFL’s compensatory pick formula for this off-season:

Round 4:

No One

Round 5:

CB Eric Stokes | 2 years, 14 million (7M AAV) with 9M guaranteed

  • Stokes is projected to be one of the better cornerbacks to hit the market this off-season following his breakout season with Las Vegas in 2025 where he allowed just 28 receptions, 261 yards, a touchdown, and 77.2 QBR. Additionally, Stokes ranked top 25 in separation allowed, EPA/target, and missed tackle rate as well. Stokes and the Raiders have mutual interest in a contract extension, and Las Vegas would be smart to resign a cornerback to rebounded with them this season and played well next to rookie Darien Porter. At just 27 years old, he played the most snaps in his career during the 2025 season and with injuries being a track record in his career, he likely won’t receive a large contract in free agency.

G Dylan Parham | 3 years, 39 million (13M AAV) with 20M guaranteed

  • Parham is coming off the worst season of his career allowing six sacks and 28 pressures with five penalties, though he also ranked highly with 4.1 ypc lead blocking which was the highest on the Raiders interior offensive line. Las Vegas likely will be letting Parham walk, and choosing to address their interior offensive line through other methods. Parham’s recorded snaps at left guard, right guard, and center throughout his career and historically has done his best when working at right guard where in 2024 he allowed four sacks, 36 pressures, and 4.8 ypc lead blocking. Parham is just 26 years old, and won’t turn 27 till August, and the former third rounder should see a strong market that could also push him into the fourth round projection as well given his blend of snap counts and high AAV. Depending on Parham’s contract, and Las Vegas’ spending, it’s possible they’ll receive compensation for his loss.

EDGE Malcolm Koonce | 1 year, 6.8 million with 5M guaranteed

  • Koonce wasn’t as good in 2025 as he did in 2023, largely in part to a torn ACL in 2024. The 27 year old, improved heavily in his run defense during the season with a run stop win rate of 18.8% compared to 12.7% in 2023. Koonce logged a 17.2% pass rush win rate, 35 pressures, 4.5 sacks, 30 tackles, 7 TFL, and 14 QB hits along with a forced fumble. The Raiders could re-sign Koonce as a pass rush depth option, and Las Vegas could also let Koonce walk to re-do their EDGE room completely. Las Vegas is likely to spend at pass rush this off-season to either pair with, or replace, Maxx Crosby. Koonce’s market is tough to determine given his 2023 season with 52 pressures, 8 sacks, 29 stops, and a 21.2% win rate but down year in 2025 & injury in 2024.
Round 6:

ILB Elandon Roberts | 1 year, 3.5 million with 3.25M guaranteed

  • Roberts has done what he’s done his entire career stop after stop, which is be a high end run defender. Roberts ranks 11th among linebackers since 2023 with 60 run stops, 12th in average depth of tackle, and 9th in PFF’s run defense grade. The 31 year old, turns 32 in April, and he’s likely to cash in as a depth linebacker who’s focused against the run. Roberts could return to the Raiders and Rob Leonard, to provide veteran depth at linebacker though he’ll likely have a decent market given his experience (5246 snaps) & premise vs the run. He’s coming off a 2025 season where he started all 17 games with 92 tackles, six for loss, 38 stops, and allowed 20 receptions, 231 yards, and two touchdowns along with a 137.5 QBR. Roberts has consistently struggled in coverage through his career. Las Vegas is no doubt going to add someone to mitigate his loss, if he does leave, so a compensatory pick is unlikely.
Round 7:

K Daniel Carlson | 1 year, 3.4 million with 1.85M guaranteed

  • Carlson is coming off a 2025 season converting 22 of his 27 field goal attempts for a career low 81.5% rate, and he’s seen his field goal rate drop each year since 2020 going down from 94.3 to 81.5 across that time. The Raiders are likely to add another kicker this off-season to create competition for Carlson, but the Raiders will also not be against letting Carlson walk to add another kicker with more consistency. Carlson likely won’t net them a pick in free agency with his low value.

QB Kenny Pickett | 1 year, 4.34 million with 3.85M guaranteed

  • Pickett will be searching for his 5th team in three seasons after starting 2023 with the Steelers, Eagles in 2024, Browns training camp in 2025, and the Raiders during the season. The 27 year old Pickett has a career 62.4% completion rate, 4953 yards, 16 touchdowns, and 16 interceptions with 328 yards and five touchdowns on the ground. The 2026 free agent class at quarterback is weak, and Pickett is likely to be a decent option for teams to pursue as a veteran backup. It’s unlikely he’ll net the Raiders a draft pick this off-season but it’s possible that he may see some value return for Las Vegas who spent a 5th round selection on him in 2025.
No Projection:
  • ILB Devin White
    • If a team randomly decides to overpay Devin White who’s coming off 174 tackles, 11 TFL, 7 QB hits, an interception, 2.5 sacks, and 4 PBU he could find his way into the 6th or 7th round value based on him playing nearly 100% of the teams snaps. It’s tough to see White earning a large contract after also missing 26 tackles and allowing 83 receptions for 671 yards, and a 92.5 QBR.
  • ILB Jamal Adams
  • T Stone Forsythe
  • WR Tyler Lockett
  • TE Ian Thomas
  • SAF Lonnie Johnson Jr
  • LS Jacob Bobenmoyer
  • CB Darnay Holmes
  • CB Tristin McCollum
  • WR Alex Bachman
  • LB Jon Rhattigan
