The Maxx Crosby trade chatter is getting louder and louder each day.
The Athletic reported on Friday morning that the Las Vegas Raiders are willing to work on a trade of the superstar defensive end, according to general managers around the league.
Last week, at the NFL combine, Raiders’ general manager John Spytek said he expected Crosby to remain in las Vegas in 2026. He did mention he is willing to listen on any trade.
That seems to be happening.
The Athletic reported the Dallas Cowboys and the Baltimore Ravens are among the teams to watch in the Crosby trade talks. There are also likely other teams trying to pry Crosby away from Las Vegas.
Thursday, the NFL Network reported the Cowboys were unwilling to send two first-round picks for Crosby, but other teams probably were. It has been widely reported the Raiders want to keep Crosby, but were asking for two first-round picks and a veteran player. That’s the compensation the Green Bay Packers gave Dallas for star pass-rusher Micah Parsons last year. Parson is 26 and Crosby will be 29 in August.
A trade can be agreed upon at any time, but it can’t become official until the new NFL league year begins Wednesday at 1 p.m. PT.
