The NFL Draft will be here before we know it, and the Los Angeles Rams need to do their due diligence, and this includes meeting with young prospects before the draft. One would assume that if a team meets with a player, then they have some interest or intrigue in said player, but it doesn’t mean they will draft them.
You can see who the Rams recently and reportedly met with below.
When it comes to the NFL Draft, every little bit of information can be news. I am not sure there is a bigger or more talked about draft in sports.
We made it. Friday. Get through today and the weekend awaits. Thanks for checking out Turf Show Times!

“Well, one data point does not a trend make. But if you are looking for any hints, clues, or bread crumbs as to who the Los Angeles Rams may be targeting in Round 1 of the 2026 NFL Draft, look no further. NFL analyst Ryan Fowler reports the first formal meeting between LA and a top rookie prospect.
It seems that the Horns are meeting with LSU defensive back Mansoor Delane. Of course, Los Angeles is one of nine NFL teams meeting with Delane. Five of those teams select earlier than LA.“

Rams Second-Round Draft Prospects Who Could Be Day 1 Starters in Los Angeles (si.com)
“Igbinsun has multiple connections to the Rams, winning a National Championship with assistant Michael Hunter and defensive lineman Ty Hamilton. Igbinosun also immediately addressed the hole at outside cornerback.
“Productive, high-effort safety with three years of starting experience in big games at Alabama and Ohio State,” stated Zierlein. “Downs is an alpha who brings immense juice on each snap. He’s at his best when deployed near the line as a box safety or big nickel back. He’ll gamble a little bit as a run defender, but he makes more than enough disruptive plays near the line of scrimmage to make up for it.”
“Arguments are valid on both ends…. I dig the kid but he has injury written all over him. 40 mil a yr for 4 years at 160 mil guaranteed is a high price to pay imo for a wr…pert near 15% of cap for a guy who wants to retire early…throw in the injuries and somebody not named Staff tossing passes next yr…well I would entertain offers but it would have to be a damned good offer….Hershel Walker type stuff.” -BubbaKincaid
