The Eagles have a lot of changes to the offensive staff, and while the defense is still secure under DC Vic Fangio, there are still some coaching changes on that side of the ball. The latest addition is Beyah Rasool who will join Philadelphia’s staff as a defensive assistant, per report.
Rasool’s coaching experience started in the high school ranks, followed by a decade of experience at the college level. During that time, he overlapped with former Eagles QB coach Scot Loeffler at Bowling Green State University for two seasons. He went on to be a quality control and cornerbacks coach for Florida — Howie Roseman’s alma mater — and then spent one year with the Raiders as a defensive assistant.
The latest hire will likely fill the role left by Tyler Yelk, who was hired by Nebraska to be their safeties coach in 2026. Despite some of the familiar faces returning to the Eagles defensive staff, the CB room will look a lot different with Christian Parker now the DC for the Cowboys, and Yelk moving on. Rasool will bring some youth to the position and will get some valuable experience in Fangio’s system.
