There is a reason why the Las Vegas Raiders’ brass focused on getting a young offensive mind during its search for a head coach this offseason.
The team wants to build around the offense, and expected No.1 overall draft pick, quarterback Fernando Mendoza, and give a boost to an offense that ahs sagged in recent years. That is why they targeted new coach Klint Kubiak.
As the offensive coordinator of the Seattle Seahawks in 2025, Kubiak led the team to a 28.4 per game scoring average, which was third in the NFL. The Raiders averaged less than half of the Seahawks’ total at 14.1 points per game. It was last in the NFL.
Perhaps the Raiders break the top 10 list in the next couple of seasons under Kubiak.
